Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia – a title he has won three times previously – at Mantorp Park last weekend. He spent the weekend battling with World RX Esports star, Great Britain’s Tom Blomqvist. Kristoffersson finished P2 in two of the races, then won race three from pole position, but had to overtake Blomqvist during the race to take his 44th Carrera Cup win. He made a small mistake in race three, which was too bad because I would have liked to have taken the fight we had all the way to the finish line,” said Kristoffersson who will also race in the final round of the same series this weekend at Ring Knutstorp.
Blade Hildebrand in the Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team, Hansen is racing an OT3 by Overdrive buggy in the side-by-side (SxS) contest, his first experience of using a co-driver. "To have a co-driver is nice because I can share this adventure with someone. It's like learning a new language to understand pace notes with Francois Cazelet, my navigator. I have to learn driving with pace notes and a new car, but it's always exciting to try different things,” said Hansen. After the first 100km stage on Wednesday he was in P7, with 240 competitive kilometres ahead of him on Thursday.
The pair will return to their regular Volkswagen Polo and Peugeot 208 Supercars in Barcelona next week.Share this story on Facebook Share this story on Twitter
